Magic of Intention
eZine
September, 2004 Vol. 1, Issue 4
Check out the Announcements section! Magic. This one word is so appropriate for what is happening in my life right now. I have just spent ten magical days with a family that I did not know well and now I do. More about the story will be in the Orphan Connection section of this newsletter. Magic happens all around us and yet we sometimes forget to notice. As small children, we used to have magical friends, or we pretended to create magic. In other words, we used our imagination to create magic all around us. Whether or not we were happy as a child, makes no difference because all children long for magic to happen and often create our own fantasy about it. Then we "grow up" and take on responsibilities forgetting the magic we had as a child. Are you ready to be childlike and the Magic that is all around you? It didn't go away - open to the possibilities NOW! ___________________ This
is an exercise to get back in touch with that part of you that is Magical.
Share your experience by sending them to me. I will include some of them with in the next newsletter. Just eMail me. ___________________ Jeanne Prom, founder of Arts To Empower (a must site to see!) has taken time out of her very busy schedule to write a short comment on this month's intention. Read what she has to say about Magic. __________________ "Magic is using the Conscious Will to create or manifest a desired outcome. To do this one must re-program the Subconscious mind, as the subconscious mind creates our reality. The Subconscious program is what magnetizes and attracts things to us in our reality. Therefore, we must change the "internal" in order to attract to us the desired "external" results. This
can be done thru ritual, meditation practices, prayer, mandalas, affirmations

"As an Empowerment Coach, I work with individuals to help them
become more Conscious, and to understand how to then use that Consciousness
to create the kind of life they really want. I am supportive and reflective
as we look at their Core Beliefs and apply them to the Seven Life areas;
Emotions, Relationships, Sexuality, The Body, Money, Work and Spirituality.
I assist the client in weeding out longstanding limiting beliefs which
have kept them stuck and unfulfilled. We craft a vision of what the
client really wants to experience, and create a very particular affirmation
which is on the client's "Growing Edge". Only just the right
affirmation will hold the "magic" to create the desired change.
Repeated use of the affirmation, with time spent visualizing the outcome
helps bring this into reality. ~Jeanne Prom ___________________ The Orphan Connection is a foundation that is dedicated to honoring orphans who are making a difference thus creating Mentor Orphans. We are always looking for stories of orphans who have made a difference in YOUR life - so please share them with us. These Mentor orphans give hope and a sense that "I am not alone." WANTED: Stories of orphans who are making a difference NOW! Let me introduce to an incredible family - my roots which I have finally been reconnected to. After all these years, my brother Günther Leschnik, whom I have met only once for a brief period of my life in 1990, brought his family to the U.S. to meet me. I spent 10 days - honestly - laughing. Laughing of joy - of thankfulness and of gratitude!
Words are indescrible about this latest event in my life. Günther and I spent sometime trying to bridge the pieces of our life that we know so little about. We have the same mother, but a different father. Both of us lived in a children's home - both were in Ansbach, Germany and yet we never knew of each other until we were adults. I was adopted and he wasn't. Read the story found in the Orphan Connection. What is most interesting is that even though we are continents apart, we are very similar in our way of living. We both are very creative people: Günther in theater and I am completing my Ph.D. work in Expressive Arts Therapy. Both of us work with people on some psychological level. Both have been through a lot and have come out of the darkness of despair and depression and through that journey, we have created ways to help others in similar situations. It is TRULY an amazing story! The Southern Ulster Times has interviewed us and the article will be available on Wednesday, September 8th.. Look for it in the Milton/Marlboro area or send me a note and I will send you a copy. What have I learned? That distance and time will not separate those who are meant to be together. That love is stronger. I woke up one morning, before they left, and thought how much joy I have been missing in my life. Oh yes, I laugh a lot but I now realize I don't laugh enough. Joy comes from appreciation - just look around and you too will feel it. ___________________ Have a wonderful September Month and stay in touch. ___________________ Don't forget to think about this month's Intention REACHING
