Are you ready for new adventures?
The fortune cookie I picked today was so right on! I can't say that my life was or is boring. I feel that I didn't attract a new adventure out of boredom but I believe, for me, it was getting back in touch with a passion of mine.
Here's what happened. Every morning, I walk my dog Meadow down a particular path. We would pass something that had stables in it. I would look but not walk on the property as I felt it was private. But in my heart, I kept wishing and hoping I would see someone and be invited in. This went on for a few months.
Then one day I saw a beautiful black and white horse in the paddock. While looking at that horse I was reminded of how much I loved the horse I had as a kid. I became a little sad, remembering her, remembering the unusual relationship we had, remembering having to say goodbye. Her name was Baby. I soon found out that the beautiful black and white horse's name was Babe - how coincidental.
This is the part where you may start to wonder about me --- I began to feel the energy of Baby walking with us (Meadow and I) up the path. I could even imagine seeing us together as I would ride her bareback. I truly felt her energy. It was so strong one day that I began to cry.
I continued walking for another month before I met her owner of the horses-Joyce Christian. Then shortly after that I met the owner of the stables and was invited to enter this piece of heaven anytime I wanted to.
Now I'm riding on an English saddle and helping Joyce — a phenomenal woman and the owner of four beautiful Gypsy Vanner horses. My dream of riding again and being with horses has finally come true after all those years. I'm truly blessed!
My new adventure is now around the horses! I never thought I'd ride again, never to be on an English saddle, and certainly never to be able to visit horses on a daily basis!
So, you don't have to go away to have an adventure - just look around and notice what is new in your environment! I did and I'm so happy I did just that!

Look around - what can become a new adventure for you?
What was your passion as a child?
Things can never be the same, but the emotion of that passion can still be strong. So, what is it?
What are you going to do about it?
Create your adventure - draw it, write it, sing it, become it!
