It's never too late!
I know I've mentioned this before but.....
On October 2nd I fulfilled a dream of mine. I became a model for a short time.
I remember way back when .... I wanted to become a model. I was told that I was model material. I was also in a relationship that put me down about becoming a model, so I gave up on my dream.
The years just kept rolling by. I gave it very little thought until....
Last year, I attended an event for a non-profit organization. They were having a fashion show to raise money for New Horizons Foundation to benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities. I noticed the models were all sorts of sizes and shapes.
So, I mentioned to my good friend, Pattie, that I had always wanted to be a model. So, after it was over, she took me over to the coordinator and I was then put on the list for the next year fashion show.
I never in my wildest imagination thought I would ever walk the "cat walk" but I did! It was such fun trying on clothes that I would model, rushing around to change into the next outfit, hoping that I wouldn't trip all over myself, and actually have fun at what I was doing!
Yes - I no longer have that svelte figure but I WAS A MODEL FOR A NIGHT! Several of my friends including my husband, were there to see this momentous occasion.
For me it was magical. And, guess what? I've been asked to do this again next year. I quickly said yes!
So - what about you? Have you given up on something you've always wanted to do? Are you willing bring that back to the forefront and try "one more time?"
The good news is - you can be yourself, have fun and say that YOU'VE DONE IT!
LAST THOUGHT:
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO REALIZE THAT...
you can do that something you've always wanted to do!
This Day my intention is to keep a journal in which
I document what it is that I've always wanted to do, and how I can make it happen.
This day I will see a dream come true.

This day I will listen to myself and charge forward with my dream!
