If
you'd like to take a walk or a drive before doing this
exercise, go ahead. When you are ready to sit down and
journal your thoughts, then come back to this page. When
you are ready let's set the stage by putting on some soft
music. Take the phone off the hook, turn OFF your cell
phone and BE FULLY PRESENT for this exercise.
For a few moments simply sit with the words LIFTING THE
VEIL.
While
you were away thinking about lifting your veil....
What
thoughts were running through your mind?
Write
your thoughts down. Remember, there are no judgments.
When
you are through, re-read what you have written.
What
one thought or idea jumped out at you that you had not
realized before?
On
another piece of paper, write that thought or idea down.
Draw
circles around the idea or thought. With each circle,
make another one and another one - as many as you want.
Let each circle be larger than the previous one.
In
between the circles, write your feelings.
What
came up for you?
Did
it surprise you? Did it sadden you? If, you had sad thoughts,
how can you turn the circle of sadness into joy and appreciation?
Now, be with this exercise write as much as you want.
Do
you feel the Veil being lifted? Is it slowly being lifted?
Are you seeing what you DIDN'T see before? Do you feel
the freedom of the Veil? For some, you may need to take
baby steps for others, you may just rush and lift that
veil and feel the freedom. Make no judgments - just start
lifting!
