Helping Others

Hello my friends,

It is amazing how many wonderful emails I receive from friends - emails that contain inspirational material.

It seems, to me, the more chaos and anger there is in the world, the more people are sending messages of love, understanding, peace, inspiration, joy and the list can go on and on.

It's as if there are two polarities - each trying to balance the other.

We are living in a time where the human race is getting back in touch with what is important and what our role is in this lifetime.

So much of the information that I receive is not based upon fear but on helping others in positive ways. Many are remembering what they came to this Earth to do! I feel so blessed to be a part of this movement - a more positive and peaceful movement.

Anger begets anger, war begets war. There are no winners and no losers only more spiraling negative emotions!

Just today I received an email about making a difference.

Our mission now, is to make a difference and I am trying to do my part. My intention is to help others, not enable them! There is a difference.

So write down three names that you know could use a little help, or words of encouragement. At least three - you may want to make it longer. Include yourself in the list.

Many of you know that I have another website called The Orphan Connection which is an inspirational site honoring orphans who are making a difference in this world. It is not about the adoption services but draws awareness to what miracles orphans are in our world.

Many orphans go into the social work field to help others who experience certain emotions that are particular to orphans. Sometimes I receive calls or an email stating "I am not an orphan, but I feel like one."

Because I have a strong desire to help others, I wanted to share a new project I'm working on.

It is called:

BRING ELIJAH HOME!

This is Elijah and he wants to be with his adopted parents but the system is somewhat "broken." Please tap onto the image and read the story. Then send an email listed at the bottom of that page to encourage the completion of his adoption process. His parents met him when he was two months old and he is now 18 months old!

The adoption process in Nigeria is NOT thinking about the child but other things. I have heard that some have to wait years for the child they have chosen - this is not right.

Nevertheless, we must stay positive and know that everything will happen in the right way. In the meantime, please check out the story and see what you can do to help the process move faster.
