What Is an Intention? An intention is a statement
of desire (goal) that one wants to achieve. These achievements are our
destiny. Life begins and ends with intention. So it is important to have a life
filled with intention that will make a difference in the lives of others as
well as yourself. The wording is critical as well as all the other components
which make an intention successful. Remember, there is the ying and yang even
in an intention, positive or negative. It is your choice as to which one you
desire to develop. Many times, if we have an intention filled with resentment,
anger, fear then that is what we will continue to attract. Which do you want?
After writing my book, I was still trying to figure out how I could
explain what an intention is. This is what I wrote to a friend:
"I guess I've been trying to figure out how I can explain what an intention
is in the simplest form and this thought came to me. Everything starts with
an intention and they create the world you live in."

Journeying

I had been told many times that technique didn't matter, intention is
simply a thought and a thought is all you need. Yes, intention starts
with a thought and then is verbalized or written down, but that was
not enough for me. It's easy to say "I intend to....." but
what makes an intention really stick is what was puzzling to me. With
the careful guidance of my coach/teacher, I began to understand the
critical value of intentions and began developing cards for myself.
Then I shared them with my friends as as time went on, Magic
of Intention cards evolved into what they are now.
The
cards are worded in such a way that allows the intention to bypass the
critical factor (the negative chatter) and go directly into the subconscious

Yesterday morning, I read an intention about abundance-wanting to do workshops
throughout the U.S. Within an hour a friend called. We were talking about what
I wanted to do and all of a sudden he said to me “Find out how much advertising,
a room etc, for a weight loss seminar would be and I will get back with you.”
About 30 minutes after we hung up, Shawn calls and says “ are you ready
to try it? I said “try what?” He says, “Do some seminars to
certify people (in hypnosis). I am flying you down.” He bought me a ticket
right then and there.
